A Popular Shopping Mall in Patong Beach
Located in the heart of Patong Beach, not far from the famous Bangla Road, Jungceylon Phuket shopping centre is the largest on Phuket Island, spanning more than 200,000 square meters.
First opened in 2007, Jungceylon was entirely renovated in 2024 and has become a buzzing hub where shoppers can explore a variety of souvenir shops, dine at numerous restaurants, visit a department store, or catch a movie at the cinema. A perfect escape for a rainy or hot day!
You’ll also find electronics stores, a two-storey supermarket, massage services, and a host of entertainment options on the upper levels, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and entertainment.
People come here to shop, and it is a great hideaway when it rains in Phuket or when the heat becomes unbearable! In case you were wondering, Jungceylon is the name given to Phuket Island 100 years ago.

Movie Theater
The central cinema consists of 6 Rooms Movie Theater. Next, a 4D Mini Movie Theater is where you wear 3D glasses on moving seats and pay to get motion sickness going down a virtual roller coaster.
Froggy’s Fun Park
Froggy’s Fun Park is the largest amusement park in Phuket, located on the 3rd floor of Jungceylon Shopping Mall in Patong Beach. It offers exciting activities and attractions for families, including Trampolines, a two-level and safe Rope Track with many obstacles, a Kids’ Playground, Attractions and VR games, Arcade games, and more.

In recent years, dining has become the main reason many people head to shopping malls. Convenience, an ever-growing range of restaurants, and the quality of the restaurants have greatly improved. You’ll find cuisines for every budget, from Thai classics and dim sum to sukiyaki, steakhouses, Irish Pubs, and even Korean barbecue. If you’re travelling on a budget, don’t miss the food court on the lower floor; it’s great value and serves authentic Thai dishes at reasonable prices.
Churrasco Steakhouse

Churrasco Steakhouse is our favourite steakhouse, and it has South American cuisine. It is located in the back of Jungceylon and serves imported Wagyu and Black Angus steaks: Tenderloin, Ribeye, Striploin, T-bone, and Porterhouse cuts.
Paname Brasserie Phuket

Paname Brasserie Phuket is a retro-concept restaurant offering comfort food and recipes from France, Europe and Thailand. It is located at Jungceylon’s main entrance, steps from Bangla Street. The restaurant is open daily from 10:30 to 22:30 and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, late night, and drinks.

Why Not restaurant stands out with its bright, playful décor and lively atmosphere, located on the ground floor in the Garden Zone, it’s easy to find and welcomes both locals and tourists. Friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, and a full bar make it a convenient spot for any meal or a break from shopping. Prices are reasonable, and service is consistently reliable.

Spoon is a pleasant restaurant with a comfortable indoor and outdoor setup in the Garden Wing of Jungceylon. It serves Western dishes at very affordable prices and a Thai menu. A kids’ set menu is also available for just under 200 baht.
Le Siam

Le Siam serves good Thai food, not too sophisticated despite the fancy decor, not spicy and affordable.
The Irish Times

The Irish Times is an Irish Pub serving breakfast (from 11 a.m.), lunch and dinner. Expect great ribs, BBQ chicken wings, Fish & and chips, burgers and a quiz night every Wednesday.
Wine Connection Jungceylon

Wine Connection is a popular franchise serving affordable European and Western food. As the name implies, they also have a vast wine cellar at a reasonable price!
The Food Court

The food court is located under the mall, where all the souvenir shops are. The food court has a lot more food to offer than people expect, and surprisingly, the Thai food served is more Thai than most tourist restaurants found in the streets nearby.
MK Gold Suki

MK Gold Suki is a luxury version of the very popular MK Suki. This sukiyaki restaurant serves a higher quality of food, has more choices, feels a bit trendier, and is, as you expect, more expensive.
Din Thai Fung

Din Tai Fung at Jungceylon Phuket is a branch of the internationally acclaimed Taiwanese restaurant, renowned for its delicate dim sum and xiao long bao. The brand is extremely popular across Thailand, attracting both locals and tourists. As you walk by the restaurant, you can watch chefs skillfully prepare each dish behind a glass window, offering a clear view into the open kitchen. The menu features a variety of steamed dumplings, noodles, and signature dishes, ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience.
Fuji Japanese Restaurant is a popular restaurant serving decent Japanese food. As it is a franchise, quality is consistent across the whole country.
Shabushi is a fun concept for cooking your food (and still paying for it). It’s like MK Suki mentioned above, but the ingredients, such as meat and veggies, are passed by on a conveyor belt in front of you. It’s probably great for the kids, but the choice is limited, and the quality is so-so.
La Casa – a decent Italian restaurant formerly from Patong Bay Garden on the beach road

Shopping at Jungceylon Phuket
Several brands are available in Jungceylon, mostly at Robinson Department Store and in the first building. An Apple store, computer shops, and large sports shops should keep you busy. For phones, games, and electronics, we recommend going to the top floor of the second building, next to the cinemas. ‘Big C’ is a two-storey supermarket with all the groceries you need for your holiday cooking or daily life.
Uniqlo at Jungceylon Phuket
The newest Uniqlo branch is Uniqlo Jungceylon Phuket. Uniqlo welcomes you to come and join in the shopping experience. The store’s splendour covers two floors, so you can buy all your clothes in one place!

Useful Tips
If you drive a car, you will soon find it hard to park it anywhere near Soi Bangla in the evening. Park it at Jungceylon Shopping Mall and buy anything or eat ice cream. But keep your receipt! This way you can get free parking till late. You might have to pay 20 Baht until midnight and up to 100 Baht, but it is still a bargain! (you will have to walk down the driveway since the shops close at midnight, but it’s easy to find near the disco). If you lost your receipt in excitement to visit your first Go-Go Bar, get ready to pay 190 Baht! (serves you right 🙂
Don’t miss Banzaan Market!
The Banzaan Fresh Market, located just behind Jungceylon Phuket, has a fantastic display of tropical fruits. You also can buy your fish on the ground floor and take it to the restaurants upstairs to have it cooked for a small fee.
